Careers at Diraya

Build a tutor
that listens.

Diraya is a voice‑AI tutor built in Doha for students across the region. We're looking for people who want to learn by building something real.

A few real problems

What you'd actually work on.

From this quarter's backlog. Pick something, own it, ship it.

01

Cut voice latency to where the tutor feels alive.

02

Teach the board to draw the right thing at the right moment.

03

Teach each student the way they learn best, and prove it works.

04

Turn a student's PDF into something the tutor can teach from.

05

Design a session that doesn't feel like a chatbot.

06

Bring Diraya to one more campus, well.

Where you'd fit

Open roles.

Summer 2026 internships — five tracks. Pick the one closest to how you think; overlap is fine and expected.

Make the tutor actually adaptive.

Speech, agents, prompts, and the curriculum the tutor teaches from. Taste for a 'good' tutor turn matters more than benchmark scores.

What you leave with

Something to show for it.

We're picky about who we take, and we owe everyone real work.

01

Shipped work

Something real you helped build that's out there for people to use.

02

A public artifact

A write‑up, demo, or release of the slice you owned. Yours to keep.

03

One specific mentor

One person you work with weekly. Not a cohort. Not a Slack channel.

04

A real reference

An honest reference about what you actually did, from someone who worked with you.

Honest fit

Who this is, and isn't, for.

Diraya is small, fast, and opinionated. Better as a first job than a comfortable rotation.

You'll like it if good fit

  • You'd rather own one thing end‑to‑end than touch six things shallowly.
  • You take feedback fast and don't take it personally.
  • You're curious about how people learn, not just how models work.
  • You've shipped something — and have an opinion about why it worked.

Probably skip it if not a fit

  • You want a structured rotation with a fixed scope and a 90‑day plan.
  • You'd rather work on bigger‑name infrastructure than something earlier.
  • You'd rather show up to a finished playbook than help write one.

Good questions

FAQ.

If yours isn't here, write to us at [email protected].

No. We've taken first interns and second‑year students. What we look for is something — anything — you've made and can talk about.

Usually yes, depending on your program. Bring us the paperwork and we'll work with your faculty.

Hybrid out of Doha — some days in the office, some not.

You'll get a confirmation within 48 hours, and a yes or no within two weeks. If it's a yes, we'll set up a short call with someone you'd actually work with.

Apply to the one closest to how you think. Tell us in the form if you'd also consider another and we'll route you. Overlap is normal — most of our team does.
